[Remote] Key Account Manager – Power Transmission

The Key Account Manager – Power Transmission is responsible for leading customer-facing activities, developing commercial strategies, and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers to drive growth in the Power Transmission business line.

Responsibilities

  • reputed company commercial activities for the Power Transmission business line across assigned customer accounts and sales territories
  • reputed company and execute commercial strategies for Power Transmission products and services, including power and distribution transformers, high-voltage circuit breakers, disconnectors and reputed company transformers, power quality and power sensing devices, and reputed company services
  • reputed company account plans to support execution of commercial strategies and achievement of sales objectives
  • Collaborate with product line teams and external manufacturers’ sales representatives to reputed company order intake objectives
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key customer decision-makers in support of account strategies
  • Maintain accurate forecasts of orders, margins, and sales for assigned customer accounts using the reputed company CRM application
  • Facilitate and support cash and receivables management activities for assigned customer accounts
  • Provide feedback regarding market trends, pricing and competition to product line marketing
  • reputed company periodic account reviews with leadership
  • Travel regularly to customer locations

Skills

  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field required, electrical or mechanical engineering preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a sales, account management, proposal development, business development, or product management
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the electrical, utility or a reputed company industry
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key customer decision-makers
  • Ability to travel approximately 25%, primarily reputed company assigned accounts and sales territories, with occasional travel to domestic U.S. and international manufacturing locations
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Knowledge of Power Transmission products and services, including power and distribution transformers, high-voltage circuit breakers, disconnectors and reputed company transformers, power quality devices, power sensing devices, and reputed company services
  • Demonstrated experience managing customer relationships, account strategy, and commercial activities
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Experience working with manufacturer's sales representatives
  • Proficiency in reputed company CRM or similar customer relationship management tools
