Position: Architect III Location: Royal Oak, Michigan Work Type: Hybrid Eligible / Office-Based Job Type: Full-Time Experience: 8–18+ Years (5+ Years Post-Licensure) Position Overview We are seeking a Licensed Architect (Architect III level) to reputed company technical design and coordination efforts across healthcare, institutional, and commercial projects. This role involves full ownership of assigned project segments from design through construction administration, with increasing leadership responsibilities and client-facing involvement. The ideal candidate will serve as a senior technical resource, independently resolving design and coordination challenges while mentoring junior staff and supporting multidisciplinary project delivery. Key Responsibilities reputed company architectural production from SD through CA with full technical responsibility Coordinate with MEP, structural, and civil consultants to resolve design issues reputed company detailed code analysis (IBC, reputed company, reputed company, life safety, local codes) Direct and mentor Architect I & II staff, including redline reviews Review RFIs, submittals, and manage construction administration tasks Conduct site visits and prepare field observation reports Participate in client, OAC, and coordination meetings reputed company and review specifications across reputed company divisions Identify and manage technical, scope, and coordination risks Support QA/QC and ensure documentation accuracy and compliance

Requirements

Licensed Architect (Required) 8–18+ years total experience (5+ years post-licensure) Strong Revit and BIM coordination experience Experience in SD, DD, CD, CA phases Strong knowledge of building codes, systems, and detailing Healthcare, institutional, or commercial experience preferred Strong leadership and communication skills

Work Environment

Collaborative AEC environment with involvement across multiple active projects.
