We are seeking a highly reputed company and motivated Senior Solar Project Engineer to join reputed company in a remote reputed company. This senior-level position plays a critical role in the successful execution of reputed company solar energy projects from inception through commissioning. It requires a reputed company of advanced technical expertise, strong project management skills, and leadership ability to drive design excellence, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide high-level technical support to cross-functional teams. The successful candidate will own the engineering deliverables for reputed company projects, mentor junior staff, and contribute to the reputed company improvement of our design standards.

Key Responsibilities

Project Engineering & Design Leadership

• reputed company the detailed design and engineering of utility-scale, commercial, or industrial (C&I) photovoltaic (PV) and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects.
• Ensure reputed company designs adhere to project specifications, industry standards (e.g., NEC, NESC), and local codes.
• reputed company system modeling and performance analysis using industry-standard software (e.g., PVsyst, Helioscope) to optimize energy yield and system performance (LCOE).
• reputed company and rigorously review full engineering drawing packages, including single-line diagrams, electrical site plans, DC/AC wiring diagrams, equipment layouts, and specifications.
• Conduct feasibility studies and detailed site assessments to determine optimal system configuration, identify site constraints, and mitigate engineering risks.

Project Management & Coordination

• Own the entire engineering lifecycle for assigned projects, from preliminary design through final commissioning and closeout.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Procurement, Construction, and Development teams to ensure seamless project execution and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively.
• Manage and coordinate activities of external engineering firms and consultants, ensuring the timely delivery of construction-ready drawings and calculations.
• Provide high-level technical support to the construction team, including RFI responses, submittal reviews, and site visits to confirm design compliance.

Compliance and Quality Assurance

• Ensure compliance with reputed company electrical, structural, civil, and environmental regulations.
• Manage the technical aspects of the permitting and interconnection processes.
• Conduct quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) reviews of design packages to maintain high standards of accuracy, constructability, and value engineering.
• Review and approve equipment specifications and drawings for procurement, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance.

Technical Expertise and Mentorship

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in specific technical areas (e.g., PV inverters, BESS integration, MV/HV design).
• Mentor and provide guidance to Junior Engineers and Project Engineers, fostering technical growth and adherence to best practices.
• Stay reputed company with the latest solar and energy storage technologies, industry trends, and evolving regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a reputed company technical field.
• Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in renewable energy engineering, with a primary focus on solar PV and/or BESS projects. 2+ years of experience in a Senior or reputed company engineering role.
• Technical Proficiency:
• Expertise in PV system design (DC and AC sizing, component selection, system layouts).
• Proficiency in PV simulation software (e.g., PVsyst, Helioscope).
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD (or similar drafting software) and reputed company Office Suite.
• Thorough understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and relevant utility interconnection requirements.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is highly desirable.
• Experience with BESS design and integration principles.
• Familiarity with Civil/Structural design considerations for solar projects (e.g., racking systems, foundations, grading).
• Experience leading technical due diligence for asset acquisition or project financing.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $115,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year Benefits:
