[Remote] Senior Software Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Transcend is a company focused on building a compliance layer for customer data to enable responsible AI adoption and data privacy. They are seeking a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer to develop software that addresses privacy challenges and enhances user consent and preference management tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers and designers to build business-critical features
• Ship production-ready code that’s easy to iterate on
• Work across the stack to deliver features: Typescript, React, GraphQL, Node.js, PostgreSQL, AWS
• Participate in roadmap discussions and technical design reviews
• Proactively fix production and development issues

Skills

• 4-6 years of experience in software engineering, with an emphasis on backend or full-stack development
• Valid work authorization, as visa sponsorship is not available
• Ability to collaborate with product managers and designers to build business-critical features
• Experience shipping production-ready code that's easy to iterate on
• Ability to work across the stack to deliver features: Typescript, React, GraphQL, Node.js, PostgreSQL, AWS
• Participation in roadmap discussions and technical design reviews
• Proactive in fixing production and development issues
• Ability to identify trade-offs and take them into consideration when making decisions
• Effective at async and online methods of communication
• DevOps experience
