The Archdiocese of Baltimore and Catholic Review Media seek a creative and mission-driven Video/Digital Content Creator to produce compelling visual narratives that communicate the life and mission of the Catholic Church. This role involves developing, filming, and editing video content that highlights parish life, ministries, events, and stories of faith, while ensuring effective integration across digital platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Produces and develops digital/video content aligned with the priorities of the Archdiocese of Baltimore
  • Completes media assignments and contributes to news coverage for Catholic Review Media
  • Helps identify and tell stories that highlight faith, service, and community life
  • Manages all aspects of video production and editing, including filming and producing content that captures key messages, events, interviews, and on-location coverage across the Archdiocese
  • Incorporates graphics, music, captions, and branding elements
  • Creates content adaptable for various platforms, including the website, social media, YouTube, and digital publications
  • Manages multiple projects and meets deadlines
  • Provides additional support to the departments of Evangelization, Advancement, Vocations, and other ministries as needed

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, if applicable
  • 2–5 years of experience in video production or digital media
  • Proficiency in video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro)
  • Strong storytelling and communication skills
  • Familiarity with Catholic teaching, liturgy, and Church structure
  • Experience in nonprofit, religious, or media environments
  • Skills in photography, motion graphics, or animation
