[Remote] Agentic AI Engineer/Researcher
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. AL Solutions is focused on building AI infrastructure that enables reasoning over complex scientific questions. They are looking for a Founding Agentic AI Engineer/Researcher to design AI systems that intelligently navigate evidence and provide clear, traceable answers.
Responsibilities
- You'll design AI systems that:
- Break complex scientific questions into solvable steps
- Route intelligently between tools, evidence sources, and reasoning workflows
- Surface contradictions and uncertainty instead of hiding them
- Generate answers backed by clear provenance
- Build evaluation frameworks that measure real-world reasoning performance—not demo quality
Skills
- Experience in Applied AI
- Experience in Research Engineering
- Experience in ML Engineering
- Experience in Agentic Systems
- Experience in RAG / Knowledge Graphs
- Experience in Multi-step Reasoning & Evaluation
- Experience building systems that combine retrieval, reasoning, structured outputs, evaluation loops, and tool use
