Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including product owners, data scientists, Qualtrics specialists, and agile technology squads—to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines that ingest, cleanse, and enrich VoC data from multiple sources, including surveys, chat transcripts, and social media feeds.
  • Build and optimize data models on the Cornerstone data platform, ensuring high‑performance analytics and reliable metric definitions.
  • Implement real‑time and batch analytics solutions using Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, and Python to deliver timely insights to business stakeholders.
  • Develop automated testing frameworks and validation processes to guarantee data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with internal governance standards.
  • Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and best‑practice adoption.
  • Drive process improvements by identifying bottlenecks, recommending automation opportunities, and implementing efficient data‑processing workflows.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies—sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, retrospectives—to ensure rapid delivery of incremental value.
  • Document architecture decisions, data lineage, and operational procedures to support knowledge sharing across the organization.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years of hands‑on experience with big‑data technologies such as Hive, Hadoop, Spark, and Python.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell) and experience with data‑pipeline orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Luigi).
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement data models that support complex analytical workloads.
  • Strong understanding of agile development methodologies and experience working in Scrum or Kanban environments.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills with a track record of delivering high‑quality, production‑ready solutions.
  • Effective communication skills—able to articulate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders and collaborate across diverse teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
