We are looking for a friendly, outgoing, well organized person with a strong work ethic and desire to find solutions to help customers have a truly remarkable experience.Responsibilities include:Reviewing real property title searches, deeds, tax records, map/plat records, subdivision records, and review and interpret surveys and/or plats.Read and Interpret attorney's preliminary title opinion to produce residential and commercial binders, policies and endorsements.Issuance of Title Insurance Commitments, Pro-Forma and Title Insurance Policies, Date Down Endorsements, Commercial and Specialty Policy items.Coordinate and respond to Underwriter and closing office questions on Policy issuanceDetermine requirements and exceptions that are necessary to completer binders and policies in accordance with underwriting procedures and state lawsRequest authorization for binders that exceed liability limitationsRecognize title defects and see advice from counsel as to insurabilityCorrespond with clients to obtain missing documentation or to clarify informationQualifications:General understanding of Title Insurance and Title Policy issuance is required.Ability to learn Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee Department of Insurance procedural rules regarding to Title Production regulations.Title Insurance License (can be obtained after hire)Strong Organization, communication and execution (decision making) skillsSoftPro ProficientMicrosoft Suite ProficientAbility to initiate work / self- starter/prioritize workloadExceptional commitment to ethics, integrity and complianceExceptional customer service attitude and people skills in working with customersAbility to multi task effectively in a fast paced environment and demonstrated organizational skillsStrong and accurate attention to detailUtilize Company Software and Office EquipmentMust create a positive image of the company through a professional appearance, actions and conduct to fellow employees and customersWorking collaboratively with othersDeveloping and maintaining professional relationships with customers.Job Type: Part-Time Remote Apply To This Job
