Your Path to Becoming a Licensed Insurance Agent Starts Here

One of the most exciting aspects of this position is that you do not need an existing insurance license to apply. arenaflex has designed a comprehensive 5-day paid training program specifically to prepare you for your State Insurance Exam. That is right — you will get paid to study. We provide experienced Trainers, all necessary study materials, and arenaflex covers the cost of your state exam. We also handle the scheduling process, removing the administrative burden so you can focus entirely on learning and succeeding.

Once you pass your state exam, arenaflex will fully support you in obtaining your insurance license across all 50 states and territories in which we operate. Key Responsibilities

As a Pre-Licensed Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be the trusted point of contact for customers seeking assistance with their insurance needs. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Resolving Complex Consumer Issues: Use excellent decision-making skills and creative problem-solving to address high-level consumer concerns while adhering to company and departmental guidelines. You will handle inquiries in a fast-paced environment where critical thinking and empathy are essential.
  • Advising First-Level Representatives: Serve as a knowledgeable resource for colleagues by providing guidance and recommendations on escalated issues. Your experience and judgment will help shape the quality of service delivered across the team.
  • Assisting Policyholders with Billing Questions: Provide clear, accurate, and courteous support to policyholders regarding billing inquiries, payment processing, account balances, and related concerns. You will help customers understand their statements and resolve discrepancies professionally.
  • Supporting Policy Changes and Adjustments: Help policyholders process requested changes to their policies, including updates to coverage, beneficiaries, personal information, and other modifications. Ensure all changes are accurately documented and communicated.
  • Providing Personalized Recommendations: Assess policyholder needs and offer tailored recommendations to ensure they have appropriate coverage. Your insights will help customers make informed decisions about their insurance products.
  • Maintaining Compliance and Documentation: Follow all regulatory requirements, internal procedures, and quality standards. Accurately document all customer interactions in the appropriate systems to ensure continuity of service.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates should meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Customer Service Experience: A minimum of 6 months of customer service experience, demonstrating a commitment to helping others and resolving inquiries.
  • Age Requirement: Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Typing Proficiency: Ability to type at least 25 words per minute with accuracy.
  • Educational Background: High School Diploma or equivalent GED required.
  • Technical Comfort: Comfortable using desktop computer systems and navigating multiple software applications.
  • Communication Skills: Proven oral and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly, professionally, and empathetically.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Strong logical problem-solving skills with the capacity to think critically and act decisively.
  • Flexibility: Availability to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed to support business operations.
  • Operating System Knowledge: Ability to use Windows operating systems proficiently.
  • Organizational Skills: Demonstrated ability to organize work effectively, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications will set you apart as a candidate:

  • Call Center Experience: At least 6 months of prior call center experience is highly preferred.
  • Insurance Industry Exposure: Familiarity with insurance products, terminology, or customer service workflows.

Work From Home Requirements

This is a fully remote position, and we want to ensure you have the right setup to succeed. To qualify, your home office must meet the following technical and environmental standards:

  • Internet Speed: Minimum subscribed download rate of 12.0 Mbps and minimum subscribed upload rate of 3.0 Mbps.
  • Network Stability: ISP must have no packet loss, with ping latency under 50ms.
  • Proof of Speed: Candidates must provide proof of internet speed during the application or onboarding process.
