Position Summary

The Remote Customer Service Representative at arenaflex plays a vital role in supporting the prior authorization process. You will be responsible for answering incoming telephone calls, resolving customer questions, addressing complaints, and processing requests with professionalism and accuracy. Every day, you will apply your working knowledge of arenaflex services to meet productivity and quality standards while adhering to internal policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining working knowledge of internal policies, procedures, and services across both departmental and operational areas.
  • Utilizing automated systems to log, retrieve, and manage information efficiently while performing accurate and timely data entry of electronic faxes.
  • Receiving inquiries from customers, providers, hospitals, and program recipients via telephone, email, fax, or mail, and communicating responses within required turnaround times.
  • Responding to telephone inquiries and complaints in a prompt, accurate, and courteous manner in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Interacting professionally with hospitals, physicians, beneficiaries, and other program recipients to provide information and support.
  • Investigating and resolving customer concerns or escalating more complex situations to the appropriate team members or supervisors.
  • Meeting or exceeding established standards for call volume, service level, and quality performance per departmental guidelines.
  • Initiating files by collecting and entering demographic, provider, and procedure information accurately into the system.
  • Serving as a trusted liaison between Review Supervisors and external providers to ensure smooth communication and timely resolutions.
  • Maintaining detailed logs and documentation reflecting the disposition of all incoming and outgoing calls.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of customer service or telephone experience in a call center environment or related industry.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in spoken English sufficient to be clearly understood over the telephone in all interactions.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with personal computers, phone systems, electronic mail, intranet platforms, and industry-standard applications.
  • Core Abilities: Demonstrated ability to research, investigate, multitask during phone conversations, follow confidentiality policies, and remain calm and courteous when handling difficult calls.

Preferred Qualifications
