Position Overview

As a Remote Data Entry & Live Chat Support Specialist at arenaflex, you will play a crucial role in capturing, processing, and managing customer feedback data that directly informs our product and service strategies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the voice of our customers is accurately represented across multiple platforms, languages, and regions. The Customer Listening Team at arenaflex handles more than 5 million surveys annually across consumer, business, and merchant segments, making this role integral to maintaining the integrity and quality of our customer experience insights.

This position is ideal for detail-oriented individuals with strong analytical mindsets, excellent communication skills, and a passion for transforming raw data into actionable insights. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the continuous evolution of our end-to-end voice of the customer strategy while working in a fully remote capacity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Capture and Management: Accurately input, organize, and maintain customer survey data across internal platforms, ensuring consistency and integrity in every record you handle.
  • Live Chat Customer Support: Respond to customer inquiries in real time through our live chat interface, providing timely, professional, and empathetic support that reflects the arenaflex standard of excellence.
  • Survey Processing: Assist in the design, programming, and maintenance of customer experience surveys that are translated into multiple languages and deployed across numerous countries.
  • Collaboration with Product and Process Owners: Work hand-in-hand with utility teams, product owners, and subject matter experts to define, document, and capture business needs related to data and customer feedback.
  • Data Architecture Support: Contribute to the development of robust data models and standardized metric definitions that support efficient data processing and reporting.
  • Analytical Solutions: Leverage modern big data technologies and analytical tools to deliver innovative solutions while ensuring data quality and accuracy through rigorous testing at various levels.
  • Process Improvement: Proactively identify manual tasks that can be automated to improve operational efficiency, and provide recommendations for enhancing system capabilities.
  • User Story Development: Participate in user story analysis, elaboration, design, and development of software programs, testing protocols, and build automation tools.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with partners across multiple business units to prioritize, define, develop, and test data for various use cases as part of the broader voice of the customer strategy.

Essential Qualifications

  • Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with big data technologies such as Hive, Hadoop, PySpark, Python, and shell scripting languages. You should have at least 3+ years of experience in data-driven projects.
  • Development Lifecycle Knowledge: Solid understanding of development release management and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Agile Methodology Familiarity: Experience working in Agile delivery environments where small product increments are released at regular intervals to business stakeholders.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with a knack for translating complex technical concepts into clear, accessible language.
  • Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to data entry, with the ability to spot inconsistencies and errors before they become larger issues.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in customer service, live chat support, or a similar client-facing role.
  • Familiarity with survey platforms and customer experience management tools (experience with platforms similar to Qualtrics is a plus).
  • Experience working with large data platforms and contributing to data transformation projects.
  • Multilingual capabilities or experience working with international teams across different time zones.
  • A background in business analysis, data analytics, or a related field.
