HRIS/HR System Support Analyst

Job Purpose: This role supports the maintenance and optimisation of Workday HCM and related HR systems, ensuring data integrity, efficient operations, and a positive user experience. The Analyst contributes to system enhancements, testing, audits, and day-to-day support while resolving Tier 1 global inquiries and escalating more complex issues as needed. The role also involves supporting users through training, managing global mailbox requests, and assisting with system improvements to strengthen overall service delivery. Responsibilities: Provide timely triage, resolution, or escalation of global tickets and mailbox requests Maintain HR systems through data fixes, mass updates, and routine system administration Conduct weekly, monthly, and quarterly audits to ensure data accuracy and consistency Support testing of system enhancements, updates, and new functionality Assist in interface/integration issue resolution in collaboration with IT Execute system updates (e.g., cost centres, organisations, locations, reporting structures) Prepare and analyse reports, ensuring accuracy of data and insights Support HR and Payroll audits (e.g., compensation, job changes) Deliver basic user training and support documentation Create and maintain reports, including ad hoc reporting as needed Know foundational Workday information (e.g., business process, extract data/reports, EIB uploads, issue resolution) Contribute to process improvements and system clean-up activities Participate in projects and initiatives to enhance HR system effectiveness Knowledge, Skills and Experience: 1–3 years of Workday or HCM system experience (required) Effective written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and quality Basic understanding of HR processes and data flows Ability to learn systems quickly and work comfortably with data Strong organisational and time management skills Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and communicate data Customer-focused with strong service orientation Ability to work collaboratively in a global, cross-functional environment Comfortable adapting in a fast-paced and evolving environment Intermediate Excel skills At Tech Data, a TD SYNNEX Company, our values guide everything we do: Together, We Own It, We Dare to Go, We Grow and Win, and above all, We Do the Right Thing.
