Key Responsibilities

As a arenaflex TurboTax Customer Support Specialist, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service across multiple platforms. Your primary focus will be on resolving customer inquiries efficiently and effectively while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and technical expertise.

  • Technical Support: Provide comprehensive assistance with arenaflex TurboTax software navigation, helping customers understand complex tax forms and maximize their return accuracy
  • Document Retrieval: Guide customers in locating and accessing prior-year tax returns and amendments through arenaflex's secure document management system
  • Multi-Channel Support: Deliver exceptional service across various platforms including video-enabled phone support and traditional chat channels
  • Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot technical issues, resolve software problems, and escalate complex cases when necessary
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain current knowledge of arenaflex TurboTax features, updates, and tax regulation changes
  • Customer Education: Educate customers on arenaflex's product ecosystem and additional financial services that can benefit their tax planning
  • Documentation: Accurately document customer interactions, case details, and resolutions in arenaflex's CRM system

Qualifications & Skills

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
  • Minimum of 1-2 years in customer service or technical support role
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency with standard computer applications and ability to learn new software quickly
  • Reliable internet connection with wired connectivity
  • Quiet, professional home office environment

Seasonal Elevation Opportunities (April 8-15, 2024)

During our peak tax season period, we offer enhanced compensation to recognize your additional commitment:

  • April 8-11: Additional $3-$5/hour for exceeding productivity thresholds (12+, 16+, 20+ hours)
  • April 12-14: Additional $5/hour for exceeding 20 productive hours
  • April 15: Additional $10/hour for working over 5 productive hours

Technology Requirements

  • Security: Valid, up-to-date antivirus software

  • Workspace: Quiet, professional environment suitable for video calls when required

Schedule & Availability

This seasonal contract runs from January through April 15, 2024, with the flexibility to create your own schedule within specified parameters:

  • Schedule availability between 7:00 AM and 11:00 PM Central Standard Time
  • Opportunities for both weekday and weekend shifts
  • Ability to create custom schedules based on availability and business needs
  • Minimum commitment of 20 hours per week during peak season
