Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver Outstanding Service: Provide courteous, patient, and solution‑focused assistance to both internal and external customers via phone, chat, and email.
  • Reservation Management: Process bookings, ticket changes, cancellations, and refunds using arenaflex’s modern reservation system while adhering to company policies.
  • Financial Transactions: Accurately handle cash, credit cards, travel vouchers, and coupons; reconcile daily transactions and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Luggage & Cargo Support: Assist customers with baggage inquiries, lost or damaged luggage, and cargo handling, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Issue Resolution: Address oversold flights, delayed or cancelled itineraries, and other travel disruptions swiftly and within arenaflex guidelines.
  • Information Dissemination: Provide up‑to‑date flight schedules, gate information, and travel policies to passengers and airport staff.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Complete required forms, incident reports, and performance metrics as directed by management.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow agents, supervisors, and other departments to ensure seamless operations and a positive customer experience.
  • Continuous Learning: Participate in training programs, achieve a minimum 80 % pass rate on the Customer Service Specialist certification, and stay current on industry best practices.
  • Flexibility: Adapt to varying shift schedules, including peak travel periods, and perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven ability to type and navigate a computer system with speed and accuracy suitable for a high‑volume call center environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to convey information clearly over the phone, via chat, and in person.
  • Demonstrated problem‑solving aptitude and the capacity to remain calm under pressure.
  • Basic understanding of airline operations, ticketing, and baggage handling is preferred but not required.
  • Availability to work a minimum of 8 hours per week on a part‑time basis, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
