Position Overview

The Quality Control Standards Data Analyst – Remote role sits at the heart of arenaflex’s Quality Control Standards and Guidelines team. In this position, you will help shape a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement by analyzing data, identifying trends, and recommending actionable insights that drive operational excellence. This is a full‑time, remote opportunity based in the United States (Dallas, TX preferred) with a competitive hourly rate of $26.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Collection & Validation: Gather, cleanse, and validate large data sets from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness for downstream analysis.
  • Root‑Cause Analysis: Perform detailed root‑cause investigations on quality‑related incidents, using statistical techniques to uncover underlying drivers.
  • Insight Generation: Translate complex data findings into clear, concise visualizations and narratives for both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement Recommendations: Develop data‑backed proposals that reduce operational risk, lower costs, and enhance consistency across arenaflex’s processes.
  • Collaboration with Cross‑Functional Teams: Partner with Operations, Safety, IT, and Business Intelligence groups to align data initiatives with strategic objectives.
  • Reporting & Presentation: Create and deliver regular reports, dashboards, and presentations using PowerPoint, Tableau, or similar tools.
  • Ad‑hoc Project Support: Assist senior leaders with special projects, including the design of surveys, data extraction scripts, and pilot studies.
  • Compliance & Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information responsibly, adhering to data‑privacy regulations and internal security policies.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay current on industry best practices, emerging analytics tools, and regulatory changes that impact quality control.
  • Team Contribution: Support the Quality Control team in day‑to‑day activities, sharing knowledge and fostering a collaborative environment.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience with data analysis, preferably in a quality‑control or operational setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, Power Query).
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, spot patterns, and draw logical conclusions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
