  • Implement GitOps principles organization-wide, integrating cluster provisioning, automation, and Day 2 lifecycle management using Kubernetes-native CI/CD tools such as ArgoCD and Jenkins.
  • Ensure that critical security policies, patch management, and compliance protocols are implemented and enforced across all platform operations.
  • Contribute to documentation efforts including project requirements, statements of work, and service descriptions. Support backup and recovery strategies, including disaster recovery planning for mission-critical assets.
  • Perform Linux system administration across physical and virtual servers, including installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of hardware, software, and applications.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues related to Kubernetes objects such as deployments, pods, namespaces, replication controllers, daemon sets, schedulers, and other cluster resources.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize engineering operations and drive continuous improvement across multiple lines of business at arenaflex.

Essential Qualifications

  • Experience with configuration management and administration tools, including Ansible Automation Platform/AWX, and the ability to develop scripts to automate workflows.
  • Understanding of infrastructure, network, and application monitoring, with hands-on experience using ingress controllers like NGINX, HAProxy, and ALB ingress controllers.
  • Working knowledge of backup tools such as PPDM, Velero, and MinIO.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Red Hat OpenShift certifications and Kubernetes certifications such as Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), Certified Kubernetes Developer (CKD), or Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS).
