If you are eager to use your marketing, social media, and customer service skills to book travel from anywhere with an internet connection, this opportunity is perfect for you. Position Remote Travel Advisor/ Cruise Specialist · Experience Level Entry and above · Employment Type Part time to full time Responsibilities · Qualify clients to determine the type of travel, budget, and needs. · Research, plan, book, and organize clients' travel itineraries, including flights, cruises, resorts or hotels, transportation, tours, tickets and activities. · Use your social media and marketing skills to advertise exclusive travel packages tailored to your client. · Securely collect payments and fill out proper documentation. · Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensure clients have proper travel documents as well as following up to obtain feedback about their trip. · Stay up to date with industry's ever changing trends and restrictions, travel regulations, and destination information to provide accurate and up-to-date advice to clients. · Collaborate with a team of fellow Remote Travel Agents to gain and share knowledge, receive and provide support. · Attend trainings and meetings via Zoom, watch recorded training videos, complete specialty trainings to gain knowledge of the industry. Requirements · Must be 18 years of age or older and must be a resident of the US, Mexico, Australia, Spain or UK. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients and fellow agents over the phone, through text and/or email to build strong relationships. · Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accurate and thorough travel arrangements down to the last detail. · Must be self-motivated and autonomous with strong problem solving skills, managing your time and priorities effectively to maintain consistency. · Must have access to reliable internet connection as well as supply your own computer, phone or tablet to perform work responsibilities.
