About the Role

We are seeking a self‑motivated, detail‑oriented Remote Data Analyst to join the arenaflex Digital and Travel Operations Analytics group. In this part‑time position, you will support contact‑center and pre‑arrival commerce teams by building forecasting models, conducting root‑cause analyses, and delivering clear, data‑rich stories to senior leaders. You will work across multiple data platforms, collaborate with cross‑functional partners, and help shape the analytical foundation that drives operational excellence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Performance Analytics & Forecasting

• Develop and maintain forecasting models that predict contact‑center volume, staffing needs, and revenue trends.
• Perform ad‑hoc deep‑dive analyses to answer critical business questions and uncover hidden opportunities.
• Analyze agent performance metrics, identify performance gaps, and recommend data‑backed improvement plans.
• Create compelling visualizations and dashboards that translate complex data sets into clear, actionable insights.
• Present findings, insights, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and partner teams with confidence and clarity.
• Maintain, audit, and continuously optimize data pipelines and reporting assets to ensure reliability and scalability.
• Manage multiple high‑impact projects simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines and quality standards.

Measurement & Analytics

• Leverage a variety of reporting tools and data stores (Tableau, Snowflake, Hadoop, Dataiku, Excel, etc.) to conduct behavior analyses and build robust reporting solutions.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy through rigorous validation, cleansing, and documentation processes.
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate high‑level business questions into quantitative analyses and reproducible results.
• Apply modern statistical and machine‑learning techniques to test hypotheses, uncover trends, and generate actionable recommendations.
• Stay current with emerging data‑technology trends, best practices, and industry standards, sharing knowledge with the broader analytics community.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 2+ years of professional experience in quantitative forecasting and analytics (internship experience does not count).
• Hands‑on experience with time‑series forecasting methods and model‑building using statistical or machine‑learning techniques.
• Proficiency in Python, including libraries such as pandas, NumPy, scikit‑learn, and matplotlib.
• Strong curiosity to uncover the “Why” behind performance trends, decisions, and operational outcomes.
• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills; ability to tell a data story to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment while maintaining a high standard of quality.

Preferred Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of statistical inference and the ability to apply rigorous statistical testing to business problems.
