Why This Role Matters

The Senior Director, Global Head of Adversarial Abuse & Analytics is a cornerstone of arenaflex’s safety architecture. In a world where malicious actors constantly evolve, this role leads the fight against account takeovers, spam, coordinated inauthentic behavior, and other forms of harmful activity. By combining strategic vision with hands‑on analytics, you will shape the future of how arenaflex detects, mitigates, and prevents abuse at scale—protecting millions of users while enabling a thriving creative community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Direct the global Adversarial Abuse team, setting vision, goals, and road‑maps that align with arenaflex’s broader Trust & Safety objectives.
  • Threat Detection & Mitigation: Oversee the identification, analysis, and remediation of malicious patterns—including account hijacking, spam campaigns, coordinated inauthentic activity, and emerging AI‑generated threats.
  • Data‑Driven Insights: Lead the Business Analytics group to produce actionable intelligence, risk scores, and transparency reports for internal stakeholders and external regulators.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Engineering, Global Operations, and Policy teams to embed safety signals into product features, recommendation systems, and moderation pipelines.
  • Rapid Incident Response: Manage high‑impact incidents that require 24/7 coordination, ensuring swift containment, clear communication, and post‑mortem learning.

  • Innovation & Tooling: Champion the design and deployment of advanced ML models, automated detection frameworks, and scalable data infrastructures that keep pace with evolving abuse tactics.
  • Regulatory & Transparency Reporting: Produce regular compliance documentation and public transparency reports that demonstrate arenaflex’s commitment to responsible stewardship.
  • Operational Excellence: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as false‑positive rates, remediation latency, and user‑impact metrics to continuously improve safety outcomes.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience leading risk‑mitigation initiatives at scale, preferably within a large‑tech or online‑platform environment.
  • Proven track record of building and managing data‑driven teams that tackle complex, adversarial problems.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with the capacity to build trusted relationships across diverse functional groups.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Skills

  • Background in adversarial research, security engineering, or anti‑abuse operations.
  • Familiarity with modern AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and large‑scale data platforms (BigQuery, Spark).
  • Track record of publishing or presenting findings on abuse detection, policy impact, or risk modeling.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑changing environment, balancing short‑term incident response with long‑term strategic initiatives.

Core Competencies for Success
