Our mission is to turn ambitious ideas into tangible products that shape the future of technology. With a culture rooted in curiosity, collaboration, and relentless innovation, arenaflex invests heavily in its people, providing the tools, mentorship, and freedom needed to turn complex challenges into breakthrough solutions.

Why This Role Matters

Our Manufacturing Operations team is the engine that transforms visionary designs into real‑world hardware. As a Remote Data Entry & Product Engineering Support Specialist, you will be the critical bridge between design, supply‑chain, and production, ensuring that every component, test plan, and quality metric is accurately captured, tracked, and acted upon. Your work will directly influence the reliability of arenaflex’s data centers, the speed of product roll‑outs, and the overall experience of millions of end‑users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Management & Entry: Accurately input and maintain product engineering data, Bill of Materials (BOM), test results, and configuration records in arenaflex’s Product Data Management (PDM) system.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product Managers, Design Engineers, and Quality Engineers to gather requirements, validate data, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Supply‑Chain Coordination: Track the flow of components from Original Design Manufacturers (ODMs) and Contract Manufacturers (CMs) to ensure timely delivery for New Product Introduction (NPI) projects.
  • Test Plan Development: Assist in creating, reviewing, and executing test plans for complex electronic assemblies, including ASIC, FPGA, and GPU modules.
  • Yield & Quality Analysis: Analyze yield data, identify root causes of defects, and recommend corrective actions to improve product quality and reliability.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Produce clear, concise reports on product performance, test outcomes, and compliance with Design for Excellence (DFX) standards.
  • Remote Support: Provide virtual assistance to on‑site manufacturing teams, troubleshooting data‑related issues and ensuring seamless communication across time zones.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute ideas to streamline data workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and enhance overall process efficiency.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a high‑volume manufacturing or supply‑chain environment, preferably within the server‑hardware or data‑center sector.
  • Hands‑on experience working with ODMs, CMs, and component suppliers for server‑class products (e.g., GPUs, FPGAs, ASICs).
  • Proficiency in creating and executing test plans for complex electronic assemblies, including familiarity with ASIC DFT and Automated Test Equipment (ATE) processes.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret SQL queries, Python scripts, or similar data‑analysis tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to convey technical information to both engineering and non‑technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining high levels of accuracy and accountability.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience with post‑silicon validation, reliability testing, and failure analysis.
  • Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools such as Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of hardware design verification, DFX principles, and yield optimization techniques.
  • Exposure to Agile or Scrum methodologies in a hardware development context.
  • Ability to travel up to 5 days per month to arenaflex facilities in Guadalajara, MX, for on‑site collaboration and hands‑on support.
  • Certification in data‑analysis tools (e.g., Microsoft Power BI, Tableau) or programming languages (Python, R) is a plus.

Core Competencies for Success

  • Attention to Detail: Precise data entry and meticulous documentation are non‑negotiable.
  • Problem‑Solving Mindset: Ability to diagnose data inconsistencies, trace root causes, and propose actionable solutions.
  • Collaboration: Strong team player who thrives in cross‑functional environments and can build rapport with remote and on‑site stakeholders.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable navigating fast‑paced product cycles and shifting priorities.
  • Technical Curiosity: Eagerness to stay current with emerging hardware technologies, testing methodologies, and data‑analysis techniques.
