English as a Second Language Teacher
Online English Instructor (Children & Adult Learners) We are a growing online English education company seeking dedicated and engaging ESL Teachers to work with Korean students ranging from elementary school learners to adults. Teachers will deliver structured online lessons, foster student confidence, and create a positive learning experience through interactive instruction and meaningful communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct online English lessons using company-provided curriculum and teaching materials
- Teach lessons ranging from 7 to 25 minutes based on student age, level, and program requirements
- Encourage student participation through engaging and interactive learning activities
- Support the development of speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills
- Complete student evaluations and provide constructive feedback following each lesson
- Utilize Zoom and other digital teaching platforms effectively
- Maintain a professional, punctual, and student-focused classroom environment
Required Qualifications (Must Meet All Requirements)
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Citizen of the United States, Canada, or the United Kingdom
- Reliable high-speed internet connection via Ethernet or landline (Wi-Fi is not permitted)
- Professional headset with a clear, functioning microphone (earbuds are not accepted)
- Quiet, professional workspace suitable for online teaching
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to various ages and proficiency levels
- Previous teaching, tutoring, coaching, or mentoring experience is preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, or other recognized ESL certification
- Experience teaching beginner and intermediate ESL learners online
Schedule Requirements (No Exceptions)
- Evening Shift (KST): 18:00–24:00 (05:00–11:00 AM EST)
- Morning Shift (KST): 07:00–11:00 (06:00–10:00 PM EST)
- Minimum availability of 4 consecutive hours per day, 5 days per week
- Consistent, fixed schedule required; availability commitments are essential
