Remote · USA Full-time New today

About arenaflex

arenaflex is a global leader in online marketplaces, empowering millions of independent creators, artisans, and small‑business owners to reach customers worldwide. With a mission to make commerce more personal, sustainable, and inclusive, arenaflex invests heavily in technology, logistics, and community‑driven initiatives that transform the way products are discovered, purchased, and delivered. Our platform is renowned for its vibrant creator ecosystem, fast‑growing user base, and relentless focus on customer delight. As we continue to expand our fulfillment capabilities, we are looking for a visionary product leader who can shape the future of shipping, returns, and overall buyer‑seller experience.

Why This Role Matters

Shipping is the final, decisive touchpoint that turns a hopeful shopper into a loyal advocate. At arenaflex, the Fulfillment Services team is tasked with designing end‑to‑end logistics solutions that are fast, reliable, and cost‑effective for both sellers and buyers. As the Director of Product for this critical domain, you will own the product strategy, roadmap, and execution that directly influence satisfaction scores, repeat purchase rates, and the overall health of the marketplace.

Role Overview

This senior‑level position reports directly to the Vice President of Product and works hand‑in‑hand with the Head of Operations, Engineering, Data Science, and the broader Customer Experience organization. You will lead a cross‑functional product team, mentor emerging product managers, and champion a data‑driven, customer‑obsessed culture. While the advertised hourly rate is $26, the compensation package includes performance bonuses, equity, and a comprehensive benefits suite that reflects arenaflex’s commitment to employee well‑being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Vision & Roadmap: Define and communicate a multi‑year product vision for fulfillment services that aligns with arenaflex’s broader marketplace goals.
  • Team Leadership: Build, coach, and inspire a high‑performing product team (PMs, analysts, designers) to deliver high‑impact features on time and within scope.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Engineering, Operations, Seller Success, and Marketing to translate business opportunities into actionable product initiatives.
  • Data‑Driven Decision Making: Leverage quantitative data (shipping latency, cost‑to‑serve, NPS) and qualitative insights (seller interviews, buyer surveys) to prioritize features that maximize value.
  • Execution Excellence: Own the product lifecycle from discovery through launch, ensuring rigorous testing, clear documentation, and seamless rollout across all markets.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Present product strategy, progress, and outcomes to senior leadership, board members, and external partners on a regular cadence.
  • Customer Advocacy: Serve as the voice of the buyer and seller, championing initiatives that reduce friction, improve transparency, and enhance trust in the shipping experience.
  • Innovation & Experimentation: Foster a culture of rapid prototyping, A/B testing, and continuous learning to stay ahead of emerging logistics trends.
  • Financial Impact: Track and report on key performance indicators such as cost per shipment, delivery success rate, and revenue uplift attributable to product enhancements.
  • Mentorship & Culture Building: Contribute to arenaflex’s product community by leading workshops, mentoring junior PMs, and promoting best practices in product development.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (advanced degree a plus).
  • 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years leading a product team in a fast‑paced e‑commerce or logistics environment.
  • Proven track record of shipping complex, high‑visibility products that directly impact customer satisfaction and revenue.
  • Deep understanding of fulfillment operations, carrier relationships, and the economics of shipping and returns.
  • Strong analytical skills; comfortable building and interpreting dashboards, cohort analyses, and predictive models.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling abilities—able to influence senior executives and rally cross‑functional partners.
  • Hands‑on experience with agile development methodologies and product discovery frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance strategic thinking with tactical execution, navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a marketplace or platform business that serves both sellers and buyers.
  • Background in supply chain optimization, last‑mile delivery, or carrier integration.
  • Exposure to international logistics, customs compliance, and multi‑currency pricing.
  • Track record of mentoring and developing early‑career product managers.
  • Familiarity with modern data‑stack tools (SQL, Looker, Tableau) and product analytics platforms.
  • Passion for sustainability initiatives, such as carbon‑neutral shipping or eco‑friendly packaging.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Customer‑Centric Mindset: Ability to empathize with both sellers and buyers, translating their pain points into product opportunities.
  • Strategic Leadership: Visionary thinking combined with disciplined execution.
  • Collaboration: Skilled at building consensus across engineering, operations, finance, and external partners.
  • Analytical Rigor: Comfortable with large data sets, statistical testing, and deriving actionable insights.
  • Communication: Clear, concise, and persuasive in both written and verbal formats.
  • Adaptability: Thrive in a rapidly changing environment where priorities shift based on market dynamics.
  • Innovation Drive: Curiosity to explore emerging logistics technologies (e.g., drone delivery, AI‑driven routing).

Career Growth & Learning Opportunities

arenaflex invests heavily in the professional development of its employees. As a Director of Product, you will have access to:

  • Executive mentorship programs that pair you with senior leaders across the company.
  • Annual product leadership conferences, both internal and industry‑wide.
  • Sponsored certifications in advanced analytics, supply chain management, and agile coaching.
  • Opportunities to lead cross‑regional initiatives, expanding your influence beyond the U.S. market.
  • A clear promotion pathway to Senior Director, VP of Product, or General Manager roles as you demonstrate impact.

Work Environment & Culture at arenaflex

Our culture is built on three pillars: Creativity, Community, and Continuous Improvement. We celebrate the entrepreneurial spirit of our creators and the ingenuity of our product teams. You will work in a collaborative, inclusive environment where ideas are judged on merit, not tenure. Flexible work hours, remote‑friendly policies, and a vibrant Brooklyn office with open‑plan spaces, quiet zones, and a dedicated “innovation lab” ensure you have the environment you need to thrive.

Compensation, Perks & Benefits

While the base hourly rate is $26, arenaflex offers a competitive total rewards package that includes:

  • Performance‑based bonuses tied to product milestones and marketplace growth.
  • Equity grants that align your success with the long‑term health of the company.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage for you and your dependents.
  • Generous paid time off, parental leave, and a flexible vacation policy.
  • Retirement savings plan with company matching contributions.
  • Professional development stipend, tuition reimbursement, and access to online learning platforms.
  • Wellness programs, on‑site fitness classes, and a subsidized commuter pass for Brooklyn office commuters.
  • Employee resource groups that foster diversity, inclusion, and community engagement.

How to Apply

If you are ready to lead a high‑impact product organization, shape the future of e‑commerce logistics, and make a tangible difference for millions of creators and shoppers worldwide, we want to hear from you. Submit your resume, a brief cover letter outlining your most relevant achievements, and any portfolio or case studies that demonstrate your product leadership.
