Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Financial Accounting Analyst to serve as a senior monetary bookkeeping expert within arenaflex’s Remote Controllership Group. This full‑time, remote role offers a competitive hourly rate of $28‑$30 and the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home in California or any other U.S. location. The successful candidate will partner closely with the Manager of Financial Accounting, Corporate, and will have direct interaction with senior bookkeeping leaders across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end month‑end close process for corporate accounting, including the preparation and analysis of journal entries for intercompany eliminations, intercompany allocations, and related‑party transactions.
• Prepare, review, and reconcile intercompany accounts on a monthly and quarterly basis, identifying and resolving any out‑of‑balance items promptly.
• Track and analyze related‑party transactions throughout the fiscal year, performing valuation tests to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Collaborate with the Treasury, Legal, and other cross‑functional teams within arenaxflex Controllership to gather essential supporting documentation for audit readiness.
• Partner directly with the Manager, Financial Accounting – Corporate on ad‑hoc projects, process improvements, and strategic initiatives that drive efficiency and data integrity.
• Assist in the preparation of arenaflex’s budget forecasts by developing financial calendars, timelines, and key deliverable schedules.
• Research complex accounting issues, draft accounting memoranda, and communicate changes in accounting treatment to stakeholders.
• Support internal and external audit processes by coordinating audit requests, preparing workpapers, and presenting findings to senior leadership.
• Mentor junior accounting staff, fostering a collaborative environment and sharing best practices in bookkeeping and financial reporting.

Essential Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of hands‑on bookkeeping or financial accounting experience, preferably within a large, multi‑entity organization.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and its application to intercompany and related‑party transactions.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros), Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to interact confidently with senior executives, auditors, and cross‑functional partners.
• Demonstrated analytical mindset, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
