Sales Development Representative I
Federal Express Corporation is seeking a Sales Development Representative I to join their sales team. The role involves finding new business opportunities through prospecting and lead generation, while achieving sales goals and developing customer value propositions.
Responsibilities
- Targets new business opportunities by identifying potential new customers, conducting background research on potential customers, discussing the customer’s supply chain with decision makers and other appropriate customer representatives, analyzing customer needs
- Utilizes Suggested Calls and other data-driven reporting to identify customer growth opportunities via call cycling
- Maintains regular and consistent communication with manager and peers within the Sales organization, related to joint sales call opportunities, etc. in support of new/incremental revenue
- Maintains healthy pipeline of new leads, completes successful calls to those leads and works to schedule opportunity handoff calls
- Collaborates with sales peers, marketing, finance, operations, and other areas as appropriate in identifying issues and developing/implementing solutions to support growth of revenue
- Performs other duties as assigned
Skills
- Bachelor's degree OR six (6) months of FedEx commercial customer-facing experience OR one (1) year of business-to-business sales experience (Sales specific accredited certification program equivalent)
