Business Development Representative (BDR)

Ludus is a SaaS company that builds digital tools for event ticketing and marketing. They are seeking a motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to identify and qualify new business opportunities, execute outreach strategies, and collaborate with various teams to enhance lead quality.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new opportunities through targeted outbound outreach over email, social media, and phone calls
  • Utilize and master tools that help identify actionable insights as well as improve the efficiency of outreach
  • Schedule meetings for handoff to an Account Executive (AE)
  • Import contact data from multiple sources into the CRM system (Hubspot), ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Maintain CRM data integrity by removing duplicates, correcting inaccuracies, and updating outdated information
  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and other teams to align outreach efforts and enhance lead quality

Skills

  • Experience in cold calling, prospecting, or managing customer relationships, even in a 'non-sales' role
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed and achieve goals
  • Willing to take initiative and consistently meet or exceed outreach, lead-generation, and pipeline creation targets
  • Ability to articulate ideas clearly and confidently, both verbally and in writing
  • Comfortable engaging with new people, explaining concepts, and asking insightful questions
  • Comfort with using Google products, CRM systems, outreach tools, and sales software
  • Quick to pick up new technologies or platforms that can improve productivity
  • A natural curiosity about learning new industries, products, and the challenges potential clients face
  • An interest in developing knowledge of the company's offerings and how they can solve customer problems
  • Desire to win. Ludus has the potential serve a majority of the market, but only with a team of people with a competitive and winning mindset
  • Comfortable with adapting to change and working in a fast-paced environment with evolving goals and targets

  • Familiarity with using analysis and AI tools or an understanding of how to interpret sales metrics
  • Experience working with HubSpot
