Business Development Representative
Avalon is a leader in high-quality printing and imaging services, catering to various industries. They are seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Representative to drive new business by connecting with key decision-makers.
Responsibilities
- Proactive Prospecting: Identify target contacts and schedule meetings with potential clients requiring high-volume printing and imaging services
- Lead Generation: Engage in cold calling, emailing, networking, and other methods to build a robust pipeline of prospects
- Sales Goals Achievement: Meet or exceed weekly and monthly KPIs by securing qualified client meetings for Account Executives and Managing Partners
- Strategic Objection Handling: Address client concerns effectively, ensuring consistent new business acquisition
- Sales Presentations: Collaborate with Account Executives to assist in delivering impactful sales presentations and proposals
- Industry Knowledge: Stay informed about trends and innovations in the printing and imaging industry
- Pipeline Management: Utilize CRM tools to manage leads, track activities, and monitor sales progress
- Collaboration: Work closely with Account Executives and Managing Partners to ensure seamless client handoffs
- Post-Sale Engagement: Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and uncover cross-selling opportunities
Skills
- High school diploma or GED required; college degree is a plus
- 1-3 years of experience in direct sales or sales support roles
- Proven track record in cold calling and prospecting, with a strong 'hunter' mentality
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills, capable of engaging with corporate decision-makers
- Proficiency with CRM systems for lead management and reporting
- Strong interpersonal skills to build lasting rapport with prospects and clients
- Knowledge of digital and offset printing solutions is highly desirable
