Retirement Solutions Specialist

The Retirement Solutions Specialist (RSS) plays a central role in managing client service and operations related to retirement plans, ensuring efficient communication and servicing of accounts.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a key point of contact for operational and service-related inquiries
- Support Retirement Plan Consultants (RPCs) and Advisors (RPAs) in servicing plan sponsors and participants
- Coordinate communication across advisors, clients, recordkeepers, and internal teams
- Manage team workflows, including shared inboxes and incoming requests, to meet service standards
- Oversee onboarding, conversion, and maintenance of retirement plan accounts
- Maintain accurate data across systems and ensure alignment between platforms
- Produce and distribute reporting while supporting billing processes and data accuracy
- Partner with internal teams and external vendors to resolve issues and improve service delivery
- Research, troubleshoot, and resolve operational challenges with a solutions-oriented approach
- Identify and implement process improvements, contributing to efficiency and scalability
- Lead or support projects, training efforts, and team initiatives while maintaining internal resources
Skills
- Bachelor's degree
- 1+ years of professional administrative experience, financial services preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows-based systems
- Experience with CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce
