THG is a global ecommerce group focused on beauty and sports nutrition, and they are seeking a Ledger Assistant for their Finance Team. The role involves supporting the finance team with invoicing, bank reconciliations, and maintaining supplier and customer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Sustain high levels of customer service when communicating with our suppliers and customers
  • Run weekly and monthly reports to support reconciliations and month end
  • To process invoices and credit notes accurately and timely
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and prioritize time sensitive tasks
  • To produce accurate month end reports across purchase and sales ledger
  • To follow all company polices and procedures, raising any concerns to the Finance Director
  • To assist in maintaining bank reconciliations
  • To maintain debtors and creditor balances
  • Producing statement reconciliations for both customers and suppliers
  • To assist and perform any other accounts duties as and when required
  • Communicating effectively and positively with all teams, colleagues and managers
  • Take reasonable care for the health and safety for yourself and other persons who may be affected by your work
  • To cooperate with regards to all company health & safety measures, following H&S training when using equipment
  • Report to a person in authority any work situation which may represent a serious or imminent danger to health & safety or any shortcomings in the protection arrangements to health & safety. In respect of any hazards remember ‘see it, report it’
  • Helping to promote a positive working atmosphere within the company
  • Any other duties that may be required from time to time
