California Correctional Health Care Services is dedicated to providing supplemental funding for California's public schools and colleges through its operations. The Procedures & Implementation Analyst will be responsible for various analytical and developmental assignments related to the Scratchers Inventory Management Center, including the development and analysis of sales data and running reports to support operations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and analysis of complex sales data associated with SIMC
  • Supports SIMC by running various reports, such as Exceptions and Daily Order Counts - including reassigning the daily workload of Scratchers ordering and ad hoc reports

Skills

  • Current Analyst I exam
  • All Experience and Education relating to the Minimum Qualifications listed on the Classification Specification should be included to clearly demonstrate how you meet the Minimum Qualifications for the position on your State Application (STD Form 678)
  • Ability to meet the Minimum Qualifications stated in the Classification Specification(s)
  • Background Investigation be cleared prior to being hired
  • If you are basing your eligibility on education, provide your transcripts and/or diploma
  • Transcripts and evaluations may be unofficial; official transcripts will be required upon appointment
  • Completed applications and all required documents must be received or postmarked by the Final Filing Date in order to be considered
  • Current version of the State Examination/Employment Application STD Form 678 (when not applying electronically), or the Electronic State Employment Application through your Applicant Account at www.CalCareers.ca.gov
  • In order to be considered you must submit a Statement of Qualifications
  • Strong analytical skills, good research skills, effective time management skills and good attendance
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and demonstrate attention to detail
  • Proven ability to exercise a high degree of confidentiality, initiative, responsibility and independence
  • Ability to analyze issues and develop solutions
  • Work well under pressure and meet deadlines; possess integrity and the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team member; carry out prescribed tasks with minimal supervision; be a self-starter, flexible, and have a positive attitude
  • Excellent computer skills using Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
