, is seeking an experienced and highly organized Conference and Banquets Manager to lead their event operations team, entirely remotely. This role is central to delivering flawless and memorable events, from intimate meetings to large-scale conferences and galas. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of banquet and conference event planning and execution, ensuring seamless coordination between clients, internal departments, and external vendors. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a strong understanding of event logistics, food and beverage service, and client relationship management. You will be the primary point of contact for clients throughout the event planning process, from initial inquiry to post-event follow-up, guiding them through menu selections, room setups, and audiovisual needs. This position requires strong leadership abilities to manage and motivate the banquet and catering staff, ensuring they deliver impeccable service. You will also be responsible for budget management, revenue forecasting, and optimizing event profitability. region. Responsibilities: Manage the planning and execution of all conferences, banquets, and catered events. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, guiding them through the event planning process. Develop detailed event proposals, including menus, floor plans, and timelines. Coordinate with culinary, service, and audiovisual teams to ensure flawless event execution. Oversee the setup and breakdown of event spaces according to client specifications. Manage banquet and catering staff, providing training, scheduling, and performance supervision. Ensure adherence to all hygiene, safety, and service standards. Monitor event budgets, control costs, and maximize revenue opportunities. Conduct pre- and post-event meetings with clients and internal teams. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during events to ensure client satisfaction. Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in event planning and management, with a strong focus on conferences and banquets. Proven experience in a leadership role within a catering or events department. Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills. Strong understanding of food and beverage menus, service styles, and event logistics. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills. Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
