Our client, a progressive family in Austin, Texas, US , is seeking an Early Childhood Development Specialist and Nanny to provide comprehensive care and educational enrichment for their two children, aged 4 and 7. This role requires a dedicated professional with a strong background in child development and education, capable of creating stimulating learning experiences and managing daily routines. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fostering intellectual curiosity and social-emotional growth. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, blending on-site care with remote planning and collaboration. Responsibilities: Provide attentive, nurturing, and safe care for children aged 4 and 7. Design and implement engaging, age-appropriate educational activities, including STEM, arts, literacy, and outdoor play. Develop daily schedules that balance learning, creative exploration, and downtime. Oversee children's daily routines, including meals, hygiene, and bedtime. Ensure a safe, stimulating, and organized environment for the children. Prepare healthy and nutritious meals and snacks. Communicate effectively with parents regarding the children's daily activities, progress, and any developmental observations. Utilize remote tools for planning educational curriculum and coordinating with family needs. Plan and supervise outings to educational and recreational venues within Austin, Texas, US . Light housekeeping related to the children's spaces and activities. Required Qualifications: Minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a nanny, early childhood educator, or child development specialist. Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field is highly preferred. Proven ability to create and implement engaging educational activities for preschool and early elementary-aged children. Strong understanding of child development principles and learning methodologies. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. CPR and First Aid certification required. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and provide excellent references. Comfortable with a hybrid work model, balancing remote planning with on-site responsibilities in Austin, Texas, US . A patient, energetic, and responsible demeanor. This is a live-out, full-time position located in Austin, Texas, US .
