Our global head office and manufacturing plant is located in Melbourne with overseas branch offices and warehousing in the USA, Brazil and Germany.

  • The Customer Care Co-Ordinator is responsible for:
  • Interacting with customers (both external and internal) to provide them with information to address inquiries and provide support
  • Resolving product or service problems by clarifying the customers complaint, and determining cause of problem as well as best solution
  • Providing ongoing sales support, utilize CRM, as well as engaging in other lead generation/management activities as needed
  • Contributing towards SDI Strategic Priorities.
  • Conducting work in a safe manner, adhering to quality compliance requirements and demonstrating a strong commitment to SDI's values of passion, accountability, respect, teamwork, and innovation.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Enters and confirms at least 30 purchase orders per day
  • Provides invoices to customer
  • Enters promotional orders
  • Prepares Return Authorizations as needed
  • Investigates Shortage Claims/Credits
  • Enters data into CRM for Sales purposes
  • Accesses and processes orders via EDI
  • Answers calls
  • Learns about and is able to speak on specific product knowledge

Job Environment

  • The location of this position is: Itasca, IL
  • Full time position/40 hours per week

Essential Qualification/ Experience

  • Customer service experience 2+ years
  • Proficient in SAP preferred
  • Order entry experience
  • Type min 40 WPM
  • Highly organized
