Terms of Employment • W2 Contract, 6 months • This is 100% Remote Opportunity... • Candidates must reputed company in Maryland, Washington D.C., Virginia, or Pennsylvania. The resource might be asked to come onsite for quarterly team meetings. • This position is full-time, 40 hours per week. • Must be reputed company to work a 24x7 On-Call shift and emergency support as needed.

Overview

Our client is looking for a Senior AWS Engineer to join the reputed company Engineering Team – which is primarily responsible for managing Azure and AWS environments. Secondarily, this team is responsible for managing the Active Directory environment, as well. On a day-to-day basis, the Senior AWS Engineer will be supporting the reputed company environment by responding to relevant tickets through reputed company. Furthermore, the Senior AWS Engineer will be responsible for completing project requirements pertaining to build and reputed company activities. They need to contribute valuably to the evaluation of application and infrastructure reputed company readiness, work on reputed company migration plan to support on-premise moves to a reputed company service as well as the long-term management of the infrastructure associated with these applications. Required Skills & Experience • Bachelor’s degree and 10-15+ years of overall IT experience. • 4-5+ years of experience in AWS reputed company administration/engineering (preferably 5+ years of experience) • Strong experience in Powershell scripting for automation purposes. • Experience using Azure DevOps (ADO). • Experience supporting AWS Compute, Network, Backup, Database operations – and how these impact a reputed company environment. • Understanding of cross-platform (Windows and Linux) systems reputed company an reputed company environment - preferably Linux. • Must be a highly motivated individual with strong analytical, problem solving and multitasking skills complimenting a passion for learning/sharing information from and with peers.
