Adastra is seeking a driven and curious Data Product Analyst who is passionate about turning data into meaningful insights that shape business and product strategy. In this role, you will sit at the intersection of data, product, and business, helping teams unlock the full value of their data through scalable solutions, actionable analytics, and thoughtful storytelling. You will have the opportunity to work on high-impact digital initiatives—analyzing user behavior, optimizing engagement and monetization strategies, and influencing decisions that directly impact customer experiences. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex problems, and is excited to lead multiple analytics initiatives end-to-end, particularly within digital or sports & entertainment contexts. Primary Location: Across Canada or USA Work Model: Fully Remote Employment Type: Contract Vacancy Status: New RESPONSIBILITIES Translate business requirements into data models, KPIs, and scalable data solutions Build and maintain dashboards, reporting frameworks, and analytics tools Perform deep-dive analysis on large datasets to support product and business decisions Develop tracking strategies to improve user engagement, monetization, and retention Partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Business teams as a trusted advisor Communicate complex insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Manage stakeholder expectations and drive alignment on data-driven initiatives Lead and deliver multiple analytics projects simultaneously Own end-to-end delivery from requirements gathering to insights delivery Continuously improve data processes, workflows, and reporting capabilities Analyze digital interactions across web, mobile, streaming, and ticketing platforms Provide insights on user behavior, content performance, churn, and conversion trends Support analysis of live events, campaigns, and seasonal trends QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Computer Science, Business, Statistics, or a related field 5+ years of experience in data analytics or product analytics Experience working in digital and/or sports & entertainment environments Advanced SQL expertise, including strong proficiency in window functions such as RANK, DENSE_RANK, ROW_NUMBER, LEAD, and LAG Working knowledge of Python for data analysis Experience with AWS data ecosystem, including AWS Glue and Amazon Redshift Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proven ability to manage and deliver multiple concurrent initiatives NICE TO HAVE Experience with dbt or other data transformation tools Familiarity with A/B testing and experimentation frameworks Exposure to modern data stack architecture and ELT pipelines ABOUT ADASTRA Adastra is a global leader in AI and data-driven transformation, helping organizations lead with artificial intelligence—responsibly, strategically, and at scale.
