Working Student (m/f/d) Software Security
As a Working Student, you will support our Security Architect in implementing and improving Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) processes. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in cybersecurity and software development best practices while working alongside experienced professionals. Your tasks: Assist in integrating security practices into the software development lifecycle Support threat modeling, risk assessments, and security reviews Help develop and maintain security guidelines and documentation Assist in reviewing and triaging results from security scanners and filtering out false positives Help maintain security dashboards and generate regular reports on vulnerability metrics Support the integration and configuration of security scanning tools within CI/CD pipelines Assist in creating materials for security awareness campaigns and developer training Your qualifications: Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, IT Security, or related field Basic understanding of software development and security concepts Familiarity with programming languages (Go is a plus) Familiarity with CI/CD (GitLab/GitHub Actions) and/or security tools is a plus Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good communication skills in English; German is a plus Team player with a proactive attitude Your benefits: Flexible working hours to fit your study schedule Mentorship from experienced security professionals Opportunity to work on real-world security challenges A pleasant working atmosphere in an exciting business and international team Flexible working hours with the option for remote work within Germany Attractive remuneration Access to the G+D sports club Use of the G+D Vital Bistro and Barista Bars $$ We are an equal opportunity employer!
