Sr. Software Quality Engineer (Python)

We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly skilled Software QA Engineer with a strong focus on test automation to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the quality and reliability of complex manufacturing software systems. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams in an agile environment, designing and executing both manual and automated tests while driving continuous improvements in quality processes. This position is ideal for someone who combines a passion for quality with strong technical expertise in Python, Playwright, and Robot Framework, and who thrives in solving complex problems. You’ll have the opportunity to shape testing strategies, enhance automation frameworks, and contribute to delivering robust, high-performing software solutions. Responsibilities: 5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer in agile development environments Strong hands-on experience with: Python, Playwright, Robot Framework Proven experience in both manual and automated testing Solid understanding of functional, integration, and regression testing Experience working independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams Ability to quickly understand complex systems and domains Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and quality Nice to Have: ISTQB Foundation certification Experience in manufacturing or complex process-driven environments Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and test automation frameworks SQL and performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter) #LI-SM1 #LI-Remote1 Sphera is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
