Software Test Manager

North Stone is looking for a Software Test Manager to join our company. Responsibilities: Serving as a testing and quality assurance subject matter specialist, providing testing know-how for the support of user requirements of complex to highly complex software applications Participating in all phases of the project lifecycle for software/hardware development with emphasis on analysis of user requirements, test planning, test design, and test tools selection Closely working with the client customers’ development project teams to help deploy application releases and ensure successful product launches Work closely with Stakeholders to create feature, regression, stress, and smoke tests Designing, implementing, and conducting test and evaluation procedures to ensure system requirements are met Developing, maintaining, updating, and executing test scripts and associated documents for software products Analyzing test cases and providing regular progress reports Providing test execution results and related metrics for deployment iterations Supporting multiple projects through software testing and release management process Writing, implementing, and reporting on improvements to quality assurance testing processes for systems and applications Promoting quality assurance best practices, suggest and implement strategies to improve testing efficiency and productivity Identifies and documents deficiencies and anomalies for systems under tests, evaluates and reports deficiencies and participates in deficiency reviews Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Has 3 to 10 years of experience and a BA/BS or MA/MS degree or 10 plus years of experience; typically performs all functional duties independently The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance Must be a self-motivator Experience in creating and executing test scripts Experience in setting up and running user acceptance testing Demonstrated experience in large scale stakeholder management and coordination, testing/validation methodologies, and release management concepts Detailed oriented and have ability to review and edit technical and software related documentation Ability to quickly acquire technical knowledge from documentation and from on-the-job training Ability to thoroughly investigate technical issues both analytically and hands-on trouble-shooting in a production environment Excellent oral and written communication skills Experience in an agile environment with use of tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Zephyr Scale
