Essential Responsibilities Perform quality activities for Advanced Nuclear projects to ensure compliance with regulatory, customer, and GEH requirements Support project execution for procured products Work with suppliers to define quality requirements, inspection and verification processes, qualification activities, and test controls Provide technical guidance to suppliers to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications Resolve supplier quality issues and disposition nonconforming product Execute supplier quality surveillance activities for New Reactor programs Write and review quality documents, plans, and procedures Support corrective action and error prevention efforts

Required Qualifications

Associate’s degree from an accredited college/university, or High School Diploma/GED with 8+ years of nuclear industry experience 4+ years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, manufacturing engineering support, or nuclear quality assurance 2+ years of experience in a nuclear quality role Strong understanding of nuclear safety culture Experience with NDE processes, ASME Code requirements, welding issues, and quality inspections Familiarity with electrical/electronic standards, control systems, software-based protection systems, PLC/SCADA, and related testing methods Knowledge of ASME NQA-1, CSA N299, CSA N285, and ISO 9001 Must be willing to travel to supplier and customer sites as required, up to 40% Preferred work location is GEH Headquarters in Wilmington, NC; highly qualified U.S.-based remote candidates will be considered Desired Qualifications Demonstrated self-starter possessing strong initiative and teamwork skills. Strong oral and written communication skills; proven ability to develop team relationships. Experience interacting with senior leadership at supplier and/or regulatory organizations. Ability to manage multiple projects at once. Demonstrated desire to be involved in a rapidly changing and challenging work environment. The base pay range for this position is $93,500.00 - 155,900.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 10% performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. ​ *The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
