Agency Sales Director

Job Summary The Agency Sales Director (ASD) will provide sales leadership, direction and management oversight to Sales Directors (SD). The ASD is responsible for coordinating training activities for independent agents in their down-line. The ASD will also be responsible for personal sales when directed by management. Primary Responsibilities: Recruit new SD’s as well as independent contractor agents. Follow up with new agents to ensure efficient and timely on-boarding. Regularly train agents on products and selling tools. Communicate with, service and retain top level independent contractor agents. Attend and participate in meetings as required by management. Strive to meet company sales objectives. Perform other duties as assigned. Organizational Support - Follows policies and procedures; Completes administrative tasks correctly and on time; Supports organization's goals and values. Judgment - Exhibits sound and accurate judgment; Includes appropriate people in decision-making process. Planning/Organizing - Uses time efficiently and completes work promptly. Adaptability - Able to deal with frequent change, delays, deadlines, or unexpected events. Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time; Ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent. Dependability - Follows instructions, responds positively to managerial direction. Qualifications: Must hold a valid life & health insurance license. High school diploma or undergraduate degree. Industry experience may be substituted for educational qualification. Three (3) or more years’ experience in insurance marketing and sales. Demonstrated experience in effectively managing and motivating independent or career insurance agents.
