Pocket-Lint - Entertainment Author

This position will operate on a remote basis within the U.S. Pocket-lint is a leading authority on consumer tech, digital entertainment, and smart home gear, reaching millions of readers with up-to-the-minute news, authoritative reviews, and deep-dive guides. As a worldwide leader in the tech and media space, Pocket-lint operates at a rapid pace and we are currently looking for a Entertainment Author to join our team on a 1099 freelance basis. This is someone who can create original, high-quality content regarding streaming, movies, TV shows, and entertainment tech in a timely manner. Your Responsibilities Research and write original streaming guides, watch orders, feature articles, and breaking news specifically related to the entertainment space. Extract the core of a story quickly to deliver informative and timely reports in a fast-paced environment. Pitch unique, reader-obsessed entertainment topics and trending culture angles to our Editorial team regularly. Input work into our in-house CMS, as well as find and format images, according to our guidelines. Stay up to date on the latest movies, TV shows, streaming platform updates (Netflix, Disney+, Max, etc.), and industry news. Coordinate with the editorial team for assignments and feedback. Follow Pocket-lint’s general Editorial Guidelines while producing unique and high-quality content.
