JOB DESCRIPTION: SUMMARY OF POSITION A Centerstone Intensive In-Home Therapist provides individual and family counseling for youth in crisis (ages 3 to 18), with the goal of stabilizing symptoms and preventing placement of youth into more restrictive setting such as hospital or residential treatment. Treatment takes place in the home and community. Candidates need a solid knowledge of therapeutic techniques such as family therapy, CBT, TF-CBT, play therapy, or other modalities. Carry caseloads of 6 clients. Providing therapy 2-3x a week to client's ages 3-18. Completing 1 session with client, 1 session with guardian, 1 family session. Sessions are held in the client's home, at school, workplace, public setting etc. Work hours are 8am-6pm Monday-Friday. Administrative work includes daily notes, monthly CarePlan updates, and staying up to date with ROI's and other paperwork ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Carry caseload of approximately six families Provide individual and family therapy at least three times per week Participate in supervision meetings Web-based documentation, which can be completed from any location KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Effectively communicate via written, verbal, in person and virtual methods. Consistently enthusiastic and helpful colleagues from whom you can learn. Ability to grow and develop with extensive training opportunities. Excellent therapeutic, written, verbal, and collaborative skills. Highly accountable, mature professional who listens actively and leads, Self-motivated individual who can set and meet simultaneous short and long term performance. QUALIFICATIONS Education Requirements A Master’s degree is required in one of the following fields: Clinical Psychology, Mental Health (MH) Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, and/or a specialization in MH Counseling License-eligible in respective discipline preferred. OR Applicants with a Master’s degree in a related field (outside of the disciplines listed above) must meet the following criteria:Completion of at least 24 graduate-level semester hours in psychology, social work, counseling, or other behavioral health-related coursework. Relevant coursework and work experience in the following areas:Clinical treatment and treatment planning Appraisal and assessment of mental disorders Psychopathology Use of the DSM for diagnostic purposes within a clinical internship or practicum in a behavioral health setting Experience Requirements Two years of post-degree experience required. Certification/Licensure Must possess a valid driver's license and meet eligibility requirements to be covered under the organization's vehicle insurance policy.
