Mobilisant les savoirs autochtones, l’ethnographie et les études religieuses comparées, il examine comment les plantes médicinales fonctionnent comme sources de guérison, de révélation, et d’identité communautaire. Les étudiants analysent les récits mythiques, l’autorité rituelle, les cadres symboliques et les relations avec les plantes-enseignantes, en accordant une attention particulière aux enjeux de décolonisation, à la mondialisation des cérémonies et aux responsabilités éthiques inhérentes à ces pratiques.
