Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Accounting / Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Clearwater, FL. As a key member of our accounting team, you'll be responsible for heavy data entry, customer service, and other administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities

* Verify information and enter data into our in-house system with accuracy and efficiency

  • Process account information, customer information, and various documents by resolving inconsistencies and reviewing data for errors using standard data entry procedures
  • Ensure orders have been paid and confirm orders to maintain accurate records
  • Process customer account information accurately and efficiently
  • Check completed work for errors or duplicate information before submitting the final product
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed to support the accounting team

Requirements

* Must be detail-oriented and have excellent organizational skills

  • Must have a degree or be working towards an accounting degree from an accredited educational institution
  • Proficiency in key boarding and Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to prepare alphabetical orders and collate documents accurately
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience in accounting or data entry

  • Familiarity with accounting software and systems
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
