Key Responsibilities
As a Cargo Agent, you will be responsible for:
- Providing exceptional customer service to customers face-to-face and over the phone
- Processing cargo shipments, including receiving, handling, and loading/unloading cargo
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure smooth cargo operations
- Adhering to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Participating in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge

What You Need to Succeed
To be successful as a Cargo Agent, you'll need:
- A high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency
- Be at least 18 years of age and have authorization to work in the United States
- Possess a valid driver's license
- Basic digital literacy
- Ability to frequently lift tools, supplies, or items weighing up to and including 50 pounds
- Pass a physical ability test (PAT)
- Wear required company-approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
What Will Give You a Competitive Edge
While not required, previous cargo freight and warehouse operations experience is preferred. Typing/computer skills are also strongly preferred.
