Job Summary
As a Data Analyst at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex data to inform business decisions. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, and develop data-driven insights to drive business growth. If you're a detail-oriented, analytical thinker with excellent communication skills, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
* Execute existing reporting and analytical tasks (30%)
- Use data analysis tools to create new dashboards, reports, and ad-hoc requests (20%)
- Ensure the quality of work output by demonstrating a keen attention to detail (20%)
- Develop additional technical skills and domain expertise within the core functional team (20%)
- Present findings in easily understood ways, focusing on how the data analysis fits into the overall business plan (10%)
Direct Chief/Direct Reports
* This position reports to the Director
- This position has no immediate reports
Travel Requirements
* Normally requires less than 10% of the time for temporary travel
Physical Requirements
* Most time is spent sitting in a comfortable position, and there is frequent opportunity to move about
- Occasionally, there may be a need to move or lift light objects
Working Conditions
* Located in a comfortable indoor area
- Any unpleasant conditions would be rare and not surprising
Preferred Qualifications
* Work experience with SQL Server, Teradata, Prophet, or equivalent data set frameworks
- 3 years of work experience in data mining, statistical analysis, evaluation, or possibly forecasting
- Earlier direct involvement in investigating the significant topic (e.g., Store network, Marketing, Events, etc.)
- B.S. in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, Finance, or related quantitative field
