About the Role:

As an Experienced Full Stack Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of sports data and information across various ESPN platforms. Your primary duties will include:

• Ensuring sports information dispersed by Data and Analytics is accurate, up-to-date, and insightful
• Working individually and in teams to deliver accurate and timely data breakdowns, clock-and-score, and other measurements and information that power ESPN's digital and television products
• Creating and maintaining a working knowledge of Data and Analytics' role in fueling ESPN's digital and television products
• Conducting quality checks on your own work and that of others, with a focus on maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Contributing to the development of new ideas and processes across the newsroom, and supporting newsroom leaders in coordinating full- and part-time staff
• Identifying potential issues and proposing solutions, with a focus on proactive problem-solving and effective communication with colleagues
• Participating in team and office meetings, and seeking feedback on personal performance
• Staying up-to-date with current office policies and procedures

Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., sports management, data analysis, computer science)

• Working knowledge of sports teams, players, and game rules
• Full-time availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to quickly learn production processes that produce or maintain sports data that powers ESPN's digital and television products
• Capacity to achieve a high level of content accuracy in time-sensitive production environments
• Ability to communicate confidently, both verbally and in writing, with production managers and colleagues about production issues and opportunities

Preferred Qualifications:

* 1+ years of experience in sports or data analysis, ideally in media

• Knowledge of how sports data is used in media and research contexts
• Working knowledge of ESPN products and productions
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and other Office tools
• Experience leading or training a team
• Ability to speak and write Spanish
• Experience using social media in a business or news context
