Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Inbound Energy Customer Care Specialist to join our remote team. As a key member of our customer service department, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, resolving customer complaints and inquiries, and driving customer retention. Key Responsibilities

As an Inbound Energy Customer Care Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

  • Answering phones from customers professionally and responding to customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and effective manner
  • Focusing on customer retention through proactive communication and issue resolution
  • Providing customers with arenaflex's service standards and ensuring that they understand their options and benefits
  • Identifying, escalating, and reporting priority issues to high-level management
  • Routing inbound calls to the appropriate resources and following up on complicated customer calls as needed
  • Completing call notes and call reports as necessary and updating them in the CRM
  • Obtaining and evaluating all relevant data to properly handle and document complaints and inquiries
  • Recording details of comments, inquiries, complaints, and actions taken
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A High School Diploma or GED
  • Bilingual skills (a plus)
  • Some sales and customer service experience
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written communication with proper grammar
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Some experience with MS Excel (a plus)
  • The ability to react effectively and calmly in escalated situations
