At Terawatt, we execute humbly and with urgency to provide tailored solutions for fleets that delight our clients and support the transition of transportation. \n Role Description The EV Site Operations Specialist will own the day-to-day management of a variety of charging and energy assets deployed nationwide. We're looking for someone with an adaptive technical background who can lead from the front — driving network reliability, coordinating facility maintenance alongside the Facilities Team, and delivering a consistently high standard of service to Terawatt's fleet customers. Success in this role means taking accountability for outcomes, collaborating closely across teams, applying the right level of urgency to every issue, and measuring impact through clear, trackable results. Reporting to the Manager, Network Operations, the EV Site Operations Specialist will work in close collaboration with the Site Operations Team and Network Operations contractors. Core Responsibilities Drive network reliability by leading the team with a hands-on, technically grounded approach Deliver a consistently high standard of customer service– responsive, accountable, and solutions-oriented Support facility maintenance in coordination with the Facilities Team, following standardized procedures and proactive issue-reporting culture Execute and continuously improve team workflows and SOPs Apply technical knowledge of the EVSE hardware and software landscape to act as the “subject matter expert” to diagnose and resolve escalated issues Serve as the primary point of escalation for the 24/7 Network Ops team Facilitate communications to EVSE and infrastructure vendors when needed Respond quickly and effectively to issues impacting site and network performance Track and report performance metrics for the network of deployed assets Collaborate with Site Operations team members to satisfy SLAs and maintain 99.9% uptime Minimum Qualifications 2–3 years of experience in commercial fleet operations, EV charging network operations, or a related technical field Familiarity with standard processes, protocols, and systems required to execute network operations functions Technical understanding of EVSE hardware and software with the ability to diagnose issues across integrated systems Experience working within and contributing to customer support or network operations teams Experience working within customer support or network operations teams in a fast-paced environment Experience working with equipment and service vendor support teams Strong professional communication skills with customers, partners, and vendors \n$80,000 - $90,000 a year Compensation for this role is determined by several factors, including the cost of labor in specific geographic markets, and these ranges are intended to provide a helpful reference. The actual compensation offer will be based on the candidate’s location, skills, level of expertise and experience, and internal equity considerations.
