ServiceNow Security and Risk Technical Consultant Job Summary Astrica ServiceNow Technical Consultants play a critical role in delivering high-quality ServiceNow solutions that help customers modernize and optimize their operations. Technical Consultants collaborate closely with Architects, Product Owners, Business Process Consultants, and customer stakeholders to configure, develop, and implement scalable solutions on the ServiceNow platform. They contribute to successful project delivery through technical expertise, collaboration, and a passion for innovation. What you’ll do: Drive hands-on technical delivery across ServiceNow's Risk and Security portfolio; including Vulnerability Response (VR), Security Incident Response (SIR), and Integrated Risk Management (IRM); configuring and extending platform capabilities while advising clients on best practices that strengthen security operations and create lasting value. Contribute on Agile engagements utilizing the Astrica methodology and tools to support efficient and high-quality project delivery. Configure and develop ServiceNow VR, SIR, GRC, and other applications, workflows, integrations, forms, and dashboards aligned to customer security requirements and best practices. Collaborate with Architects and Business Process Consultants to support solution design, technical implementation, testing, and deployment activities. Drive quality! Participate in code reviews, testing efforts, defect remediation, and migration activities between ServiceNow instances. Assist with customer workshops, technical documentation, knowledge transfer, and ongoing support activities. Participate in internal collaboration, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing initiatives. What you bring: 3+ years of ServiceNow platform experience with hands-on development and configuration expertise in VR, SIR, and GRC modules. Experience working in Agile project environments, including sprint planning, story development, testing, and technical documentation. Hands-on experience with integrations using REST, SOAP, Integration Hub, LDAP, SSO, or security and governance tooling integrations. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and client stakeholders. A passion for learning new ServiceNow capabilities and delivering exceptional customer experiences in fast-paced environments. Extra Awesome: Experience with CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, Policy and Compliance Management, Audit Management, Vendor Risk Management, and enterprise governance and risk frameworks. CSA and CAD certifications, plus CIS certifications in Security Operations, Risk and Security, ITSM, ITOM, or related ServiceNow product suites. Where You’ll Work We’re a remote-first team, which means you can do your best work from wherever you’re happiest and most productive. Every now and then, we may ask you to join us on-site with a client—but those moments are the exception, not the rule. Flexibility is built in, because we know life doesn’t fit neatly into a 9–5. What the Work Looks Like Most of your day will be spent collaborating online, building smart solutions, and occasionally traveling (up to 10%) if a project needs you in person. Otherwise, it’s you, your laptop, and your favorite coffee mug. Why Astrica? At Astrica, we’re not just checking boxes—we’re reimagining what it means to be a ServiceNow partner. We blend smart automation with human-first change management, and we do it with curiosity, creativity, and a sense of humor. Our team is made up of industry pros who love what they do and believe work should be both impactful and fun. Astrica is an equal opportunity employer committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
