Job Summary

As a Pharmacy Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient experiences in our pharmacy. You will work closely with our pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure that our patients receive the highest level of care and service. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service to patients and customers
  • Recommending items for sale to patients and customers
  • Modeling and sharing customer service best practices with all team members
  • Maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy environment
  • Assisting with administrative tasks, such as answering phones and processing prescriptions
  • Collaborating with the pharmacy team to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional patient service, including answering questions, resolving issues, and making recommendations

  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of our products and services, including medications, health and wellness products, and services
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients and customers, including building trust and loyalty
  • Collaborate with the pharmacy team to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on the latest products, services, and industry trends
  • Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment, including adhering to safety and sanitation standards
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as answering phones, processing prescriptions, and managing inventory

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred

  • 1-2 years of experience in a retail or healthcare environment, preferably in a pharmacy setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, customers, and colleagues
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm
  • Basic math skills, with the ability to accurately process transactions and manage cash handling responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a pharmacy or healthcare environment, preferably in a customer-facing role

  • Knowledge of pharmacy operations, including medication management and dispensing procedures
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and other retail technology
  • Experience working with diverse patient populations, including those with varying cultural, linguistic, and socioeconomic backgrounds
  • Certification in pharmacy technology or a related field, such as Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
